As you know, Cyprus and France maintain excellent bilateral relations, based on mutual respect and shared values and principles. These relations witnessed a dynamic boost after the accession of Cyprus to the European Union in 2004, dynamic which are growing and developing.

French positions on the Cyprus problem are well known and they are based on the principles of the rule of law and respect of human rights.
