BIRTH REGISTRATION IN THE CONSULAR REGISTERS

For the registration at the Consular Birth Records the following is needed:

Cypriot nationality of at least one of the two parents
An application form (available at the Embassy)
A copy of the child’s birth certificate
A copy of the parents’ passports/identity cards
In the case of a foreign parent, a letter signed by him/her in which he/she gives his/her consent for the acquisition of the Cypriot nationality for his/her child
15,38 euros for the registration and the delivery of an electronic consular certificate

An appointment is needed for the registration application.
