b) Renewal of Existing Identity Card

To schedule an appointment, you must have the following documents:

(1). Original current Identity card
(2). Copy of current Identity card
(3). Original Birth Certificate (if above document does not mention the exact place of birth of the Applicant) - --Arabic documents that accompany the application should be translated in English. The English translation should be legalized and stamped at both the Ministries of Justice and Foreign Affairs, before are presented to the Embassy.
(4). Application form for “Issuance/Renewal/Re-Issuance of an Identity Card” - The application form should be completed in advance by the applicant BUT signed by the applicant before the Consular Officer at the Embassy.

Application Fees: ADULTS: 120, payable in AED CASH ONLY.
MINORS (under the age of 18): 80, payable in AED CASH ONLY.

c) Issuance of an Identity Card due to Theft, Loss or Wear

To schedule an appointment, you must have the following documents:

(1). Original Police report issued by the Lebanese Authorities or by the relevant authorities of another country*
(2). Copy of Identity Card, if available
(3). Copy of Registration Document OR Citizenship Document
(4). Original Birth Certificate (if above documents do not mention the exact place of birth of the Applicant) *
(5). Application form for “Issuance/Renewal/Re-Issuance of an Identity Card” - The application form should be completed in advance by the applicant BUT signed by the applicant before the Consular Officer at the Embassy.
