Embassy

The Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Abu Dhabi is the diplomatic mission of Cyprus to the United Arab Emirates. Following the agreement between the two countries to establish official diplomatic relations at ambassadorial level in 2007, the Republic of Cyprus proceeded to the accreditation of Ambassador with residence in Abu Dhabi in 2009.

The Embassy’s main mission is to promote and further enhance political, cultural, economic and trade relations with the United Arab Emirates. Furthermore, the Embassy provides general information on Cyprus and offers consular advice to Cypriot nationals visiting or living in the UAE, as well as to those intending to travel to the island or wishing to establish business or other contacts with Cyprus.

The Embassy is also accredited to the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).
