The Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Vienna accepts applications for one (1) full-time clerk/typist local staff position, in the department of Archives and Communications. The Terms of employment will be governed by the "Guidelines for the Employment and the Terms of Service of Local Staff of Overseas Diplomatic Missions of the Republic of Cyprus". The duties to be performed include operating the telecommunication and cryptographic systems used for communication with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus, carrying out correspondence, archiving of documents, providing assistance to the Consular Section as well as other tasks relevant to the duties of the Embassy, that may be assigned by the Ambassador.
Qualifications required:
Very good knowledge of systems of organizing and archiving documents.
Very good knowledge of the use of telecommunication and cryptographic systems.
Very good computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel etc.).
Very good knowledge of Greek and English. Good knowledge of German will be considered as an asset.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the proper operation of the Telecommunications and Cryptographic systems.
Relevant experience to the described duties will be considered an asset.
The monthly gross salary will be 2,168.00€.
