The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Markos Kyprianou will travel today, Tuesday, February 15, to the capital of Qatar, Doha, for a short visit.

In Doha Minister Kyprianou will hold talks with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country, Mr. Hamad Bin Jassem Bin Jabr Al Thani. During the meeting, the bilateral relations between Cyprus and Qatar as well as other international and regional issues will be discussed. Mr. Kyprianou will brief Mr. Hamad Bin Jassem Bin Jabr Al Thani on the progress of the direct negotiations on the Cyprus problem.

The Minister will arrive to Cyprus through Beirut on Wednesday evening.
