Non Commercial Movement of Companion Animals – EU Regulation 998/2003/EK
The provisions in force governing the non commercial movement of companion animals towards Cyprus can be found at the Veterinary Services Department webpage under the Useful Information link.
For better servicing the companion animal’s owner or the person responsible for them, must, according to the provisions in force, communicate to the Veterinary Services Department, of the Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment of the Republic of Cyprus, their arrival information, namely the airline company and flight number or the name of the sea vessel together with the date and time of their arrival in Cyprus.
The above information must be communicated to the Veterinary Services Department, 48-72 hours prior their arrival in Cyprus, either by fax (no.: +357-22-805176) or via email at Animal.Health@vs.moa.gov.cy
