High Commission of the Republic of Cyprus in New Delhi - Registration of the Cypriot Citizens Living in India

Cypriots who are over the age of 18 years and reside in India and countries of High Commission's parallel accreditation (Bangladesh, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam as well as Singapore) should at the earliest opportunity register their details at the Cyprus High Commission in New Delhi as well as at the respective Honorary Consulates of Cyprus in the above mentioned countries under the High Commission's accreditation

Failure to do so may in a period of emergency result in difficulty or delay in according them assistance and protection, of which they are entitled.

Please note that each family should complete the registration form only once. In the form, please include your children if they are under 18 years old. For the children over 18 years of age, a separate registration form should be completed.

Changes of address or departure from the country should also be notified to the High Commission in New Delhi.

Moreover, the Crisis Management Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus has activated a registration system for Cypriot citizens abroad

(OIKADE) www.oikade.gov.cy

with effect from 1st August 2017, which can be accessed from computers and "smart'' devices / mobiles.

The system, which is part of the Joint EU Crisis Preparedness Framework, is a system of voluntary registration of data of Cypriot citizens, who are abroad for any reason and an additional tool to assist the Ministry in identifying, communicating and possibly consular assistance to Cypriot citizens, especially those who are in high risk countries or present in a country during a crisis due to man-made and / or natural disasters.

Cypriot citizens traveling or staying abroad for any reason may use the above website to voluntarily register their travel as well as personal data that will be handled in accordance with the relevant law of the Republic of Cyprus.
