| The political section of the High Commission deals with the enhancement of the existing strong political cooperation between Cyprus and India.
The political section also works for the strengthening of relations and cooperation between Cyprus and the countries of the High Commission’s parallel accreditation (Bangladesh, Malaysia, Myanmar, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam) on issues of bilateral and multilateral interest.
