Visa Information

In accordance with the new directives for entry in the Republic of Cyprus, which are in immediate effect

    · Third country nationals, holders of a type “C” Schengen visa (double or multiple entry), who have already used that visa to enter a Schengen country, and that Schengen visa is still valid upon their departure from Cyprus, may travel to Cyprus without a Cypriot national visa and stay there for a period equal to the remainder of the time for which the Schengen visa is valid. (It should be noted that maximum period of stay is limited to 90 days per six months)
    • Russian and Ukrainian nationals may now be issued a three (3) year multiple entry visa, provided that they meet all other pertinent requirements.
    • As of 19 December 2009, holders of the new biometric passports for Serbia, Montenegro and FYROM do not need a visa to enter Cyprus for the period of up to three months (90 days per six months). It is noted that holders of the old (non biometric) passports for the above mentioned countries will still need to obtain a visa in order to enter Cyprus. It is further noted that holders of Serbian passports that are issued by the “Coordination Directorate” in English or “Koordinaciona Uprava” in Serbian will also still have to obtain a visa in order to enter Cyprus.
