Home and Identity exhibition curated by Toula Liasi

On April 6, 2017, the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus hosted the opening of the exhibition “Home and Identity” at the Humanity House in The Hague. Toula Liasi, a Cypriot artist resident of The Hague, curated the exhibition which consists of drawings by students from the Rizokarpaso High School, the only Greek Cypriot High School operating in the occupied part of Cyprus, and the Peace and Freedom High School in Deryneia located near the “ghost town” of Famagusta. The event was opened by H.E. Ambassador Elpidoforos Economou. Mrs. Liasi presented her research project based on the students’ drawings. The event was attended by about 100 guests, including Heads of Diplomatic Missions, officers of international organizations, journalists and Cypriots of the Netherlands.

The exhibition will continue at the Humanity House [Prinsegracht 8, 2512 GA, The Hague] until April 16 2017 between 10:00 and 17:00.
