As the European Capital of Culture 2017 is coming to a close, the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Copenhagen would like to extend its warmest congratulations to Pafos and Aarhus for what has been a truly exciting year.
The Embassy had the great honour and pleasure to participate in the wonderful festivities during this year of exemplary cooperation between Aarhus and Pafos with the highly successful event at Moesgaard Museum in Aarhus on 22nd of January 2017.
We could not imagine a better way to start the year than through the amazing performance of the choir of the Music School of Pafos. It was a unique opportunity to bring Cyprus Culture to the heart of the Sister Capital of Culture 2017 of Pafos, Aarhus.

And for those who would like to hold on to this amazing year of Culture, there is still a chance to visit at the Moesgaard Museum in Aarhus the joint exhibition of Pafos and Aarhus 2017 – “The presence of Absence - An exhibition with Art, Anthropology and Archaeology about the life of the dead in Cyprus and Denmark”, which will be open until 7 of January 2018.
