Announcement of the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Beijing
regarding the opening of Visa Application Centers
in the People’s Republic of China

The Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Beijing is pleased to announce the signature, on March 29th, 2016, of an agreement with TLScontact, regarding the opening of Visa Application Centers (VACs) in the People’s Republic of China. The Visa Application Centers will be launched in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenyang, Wuhan and Chengdu.
The VAC in Beijing is expected to start operating on April 20th, 2016. The VACs in the other cities are expected to open later, after the completion of the relevant procedures.
As of April 8th, 2016, the web page (provisional version) of the Visa Application Centre in Beijing (https://cy.tlscontact.com/cn/BJS ) is expected to be available, while it is expected to be fully operational from May 4th, 2016.
During the period from April 8th until May 4th, 2016, applicants from all over China will be able to contact the TLScontact’s call center (calls from China: 021 60168632, calls from overseas: +86 21 60168633) for arranging an appointment for the submission of their visa applications.
As of May 5th, 2016, all appointments will be made electronically, through the web page of the Visa Application Center in Beijing (https://cy.tlscontact.com/cn/BJS ).
The VAC in Beijing will be open daily (Monday to Friday) from 8:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and will observe the holidays of the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Beijing and the official public holidays of the PR China.
Applicants from all over China are encouraged to choose the Visa Application Center in Beijing for the submission of their visa applications.
