Cyprus hosts the biggest Cleantech event in the Eastern Mediterranean and MENA region
A Cleantech Entrepreneurship Bootcamp patterned after the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship, taught by world-renowned academics and entrepreneurs and brought to you by Chrysalis LEAP.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus is a proud supporter of the “Cleantech Entrepreneurship Bootcamp” a first of its kind event right here in Cyprus, bringing together some of the biggest names in the industry, academics, established entrepreneurs and investors who work in cleantech, and connecting them with researchers, corporates and startups from Europe, Middle East, North Africa and beyond.
Cleantech startups, entrepreneurs, as well as corporate innovators can now submit their application for a chance to partake in this unique experience. Participants will learn through a methodology patterned after the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship and will be taught by world-renowned academics and entrepreneurs such as Elaine Chen from MIT and Cody Friesen of Zero Mass Water.
The Cleantech Entrepreneurship Bootcamp will be hosted in Cyprus from the 19th to the 26th of May 2018 at the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation in Nicosia. This 7-day event is an incredible opportunity to connect and network with some of the brightest minds in the industry and gain direct access to cleantech investors.

8th NEMITSAS Prize 2018The Board of Directors announces that the NEMITSAS Prize 2018 will be awarded in COMPUTER SCIENCE.
The Prize will be awarded by The President of the Republic of Cyprus at the Presidential Palace around early October 2018. (The precise date will be announced later.)
Applications or Nominations will be accepted from 1st April, 2018 through 30th April, 2018. Electronic submission (via email) is preferred. A typed A4 letter is also acceptable. To be considered, it must be received no later than 12.00 noon on the 30th April 2018.
Attached evidence that the applicant/nominee is of Cypriot origin is required.
The Prize consists of:
The Award Certificate
The Gold Medal
Monetary Award of €30.000.
(In case more than one applicant is selected, the Monetary Award will be split equally among the Laureates.)
