The Consulate General of the Republic of Cyprus in Thessaloniki was established in August 1986. Its consular district includes the districts of Macedonia (West, Central, East), Thraki, as well as the peninsula of Mount Athos.
The primary mission of the Consulate General is to further enhance and promote the existing relations between Cyprus and northern Greece in a multitude of fields, ranging from business to culture and from tourism to education.
In this context, the Consulate General also issues visas to foreign citizens (mainly form the neighboring countries) who wish to visit Cyprus. At the same time, the Consulate General offers consular support and services to Cypriots living, or visiting northern Greece.
