2023 Presidential Election

Polling Stations Abroad

The Ministry of Interior announces that in the upcoming presidential elections, on February 5, 2023 and in any runoff election on February 12, 2023, polling stations will operate abroad, for voters who are already registered in the electoral roll or they will register until December 27, 2022.

In order to allow the operation of polling stations abroad, a special electoral roll is drawn up, to which the data of registered voters are transferred from the permanent electoral roll of Cyprus, following a relevant declaration submitted by the interested parties.

It is noted that polling stations abroad, according to the Legislation, may operate only in those cities where the number of voters, who will submit a declaration, exceeds fifty (50).

For this purpose, special declaration forms have been prepared, and the holders of an electoral booklet, who wish to exercise their right to vote abroad, are invited to fill in these forms appropriately and submit them in a timely manner, no later than December 27, 2022.

Declaration forms can be obtained from the Embassies/Consulates of the Republic abroad, the local Offices of the District Administrations, from the Citizen Service Centers and the Citizen Centers (Cyprus Post), from the Elections Service, at the Ministry of Interior, as well as electronically from the elections website at elections.gov.cy.

The declarations can be submitted in printed form at the above premises, as well as online at aps.electЯons.mol.gov.cy.
