The Consulate General of the Republic of Cyprus in Toronto was established in 1995. Its primary mission is to serve the interests of the Government of the Republic of Cyprus, and to promote and further enhance existing relations between Cyprus and Canada in all fields, ranging from politics and business to culture, tourism and education.
Concurrently our mission is to offer efficient consular services primarily to our fellow Cypriot citizens living or/and traveling in our jurisdiction, as well as to other foreign nationals who wish to use the services provided by our Consulate.
Our vision is to make the Consulate General of the Republic of Cyprus in Toronto a leading Diplomatic Mission by enhancing Cyprus' presence in our consular jurisdiction and further solidifying and promoting political, economic, commercial and cultural bilateral relations. At the same time we seek to continue our efforts to assist our fellow Cypriots in their needs for consular services in the best possible way. In addition to providing consular support to Cypriot citizens, the Consulate General wishes to develop and nurture the circumstances to attract Canadian investment into Cyprus while adding depth and breadth to cultural and academic relationships throughout the region.
The Consulate General has jurisdiction over Ontario, in the provinces of Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador, and the territories of Yukon, Northwestern and Nunavut.
