As part of this multilateral mandate, the Mission is responsible for all dealings and communications with these organisations as well as with the Permanent Missions of all other countries resident in Geneva.

Consequently, the scope of issues dealt with by the Permanent Mission is extremely broad and includes, inter alia, issues relating to human rights, disarmament, economic and trade affairs, humanitarian, health and labour affairs, intellectual property and the environment.
