The Permanent Representative of Cyprus, Ambassador Andreas Ignatiou opened alongside Mr. Francesco Pisano, Director of the UN Library at Geneva (representing UNOG Director General Michael Møller), the photographic exhibition “Archaeological Treasures of the Cyprus Museum” on Tuesday, 13 September, opening day of the 33rd session of the Human Rights Council. The exhibition, depicting some of the most important artefacts of the Cyprus museum in Nicosia, is the result of a collaboration between the Press and Information Office and the Department of Antiquities of Cyprus and will remain on display in the Palais des Nations, home of the UN Office at Geneva, until September 29th.
