Cyprus is not a Schengen Country. However as a member of the E.U. it follows the Schengen regulations. According to the regulations governing the issuance of the Schengen Visa, third country nationals that hold a valid Schengen visa Type C with the indication “number of entries: TWO or MULT”, can travel to Cyprus without acquiring a Cyprus national visa for a period of 90 days in any 180 days period.
It is noted that it is not necessary to enter the Schengen territory before you use this Schengen Visa to enter the territory of the Republic of Cyprus.
