INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN CYPRUS WITHIN TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY (TOURINVEST)

Invest Cyprus as the Investment Authority of the Government (CIPA), dedicated to attract and facilitate foreign direct investments into Cyprus, is delighted to introduce its new initiative named "TourInvest" which aims to promote investment opportunities within the local tourism and hospitality industry.

The TourInvest Unit aims to achieve the targets set by our National Tourism Strategy to turn Cyprus to a quality all year round destination. Efforts are focusing on attracting multi-million investment into large-scale infrastructure projects under the objective to diversify Cyprus’ touristic product and therefore, investment into thematic areas, such as nautical tourism, cultural tourism, sports, conference, health, and wellness, and agrotourism.

TourInvest acts as the first point of contact to international investors, and provides valid and useful information on projects of their interest. Part of this initiative, is to create a Project Bank with all investment opportunities that are available in the hospitality and tourism sector in Cyprus. In addition, we have proceeded with the creation of a new website, and have incorporated a specific section dedicated on available projects linked to the unit's Project Bank (www.tourinvestcyprus.org.cy) with the necessary and reliable support information.

Further information or assistance can be provided by the Head of the TourInvest Unit, Ms Stephanie Panayi at spanayi@investcyprus.org.cy or +357 22441133.
