VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Embassy/Permanent Mission of the Republic of Cyprus in Vienna has the following position under the overall authority of the Ambassador of the Embassy and Permanent Mission:
Driver/Messenger
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Serve as a driver/messenger to the Embassy and Permanent Μission
· Perform such tasks as collecting and delivering documents and materials
· Administration (log book)
· Keep the vehicle in clean condition, carry out daily routine maintenance checks (oil, water, battery, lights, brakes, tires, communication system, etc.)
· Perform any other duties as requested by the Embassy (Photocopying, etc.)
· Ensure safety of passengers
Qualification Requirements:
· Experience as a driver in a similar position will be an asset
· Secondary school education
· Excellent driving skills and record
· Knowledge of Vienna with respect to Embassies, Permanent Missions and United Nations
· Knowledge of Accredited countries: Slovenia, Croatia
· Good knowledge of English and German language
· High Levels of discretion and judgment
Conditions:
For this position it is often necessary to work outside the regular opening hours of the embassy so flexibility is required.
Yearly gross salary of €30.478 (€2.177 x 14) plus an additional flat-rate overtime allowance.
