Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Vienna

The Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Vienna participated in this year’s, too, commemoration ceremony for the victims of the former concentration camp in Mauthausen. The ceremony was organized by the Austrian Mauthausen Committee on 7 May 2017.

After the ceremony, a commemoration service at the monument for the Greek victims of the former concentration camp, outside of the camp, was also held.

The Embassy bestowed honour to all people who so tragically died and were tortured in the camp by laying a wreath in front of the central monument as well as in front the monument for the Greek victims.
