Don’t miss the 6th in a row spectacular concert “Viennese Christmas”! Be sure to tune in on Sunday 27th December at 7pm Cyprus (EET) time, or 6pm Austria (CET) time, and you will be able to experience the magical and enchanting Viennese Christmas feeling coming just from the very heart of Europe. Internationally renowned artists, such as the Cypriot soprano Chryso Makariou, the Bulgarian baritone Russi Nikoff, and members of the famous Vienna Classic Orchestra will take part in this outstanding concert in a very unique way. From Vienna, they will send all together messages of solidarity and set an example about giving and helping people in need, by contributing to the Cyprus Association “One Dream One Wish” and supporting children with cancer and related diseases.
The concert will be broadcasted live on the official Facebook Page of Chryso Makariou as well as on her official YouTube channel.
This year’s concert is supported by the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Austria (Metropolis von Austria) which let kindly the artists perform in the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Vienna. Vienna Quartiere Artistico holds and supports this amazing production.

In 2015 the “Christmas in Vienna” concert took place at the Strovolos Municipal Theater of Nicosia; this concert was inspired by the concert of the same name held in Konzerthaus in Vienna – created and established by three extraordinary tenors, Luciano
Pavarotti, José Plácido Domingo and José Carreras. The 2015 concert was organised by the Cyprus Association “One Dream One Wish” and the Austrian Embassy Nicosia in Cyprus and all ticket money raised were given away to children with cancer. In 2016 the concert was renamed to “Viennese Christmas” and held in Vienna by Vienna Quartiere Artistico. Ever since, the “Viennese Christmas” concert takes place one year in Nicosia, held by the Association “One Dream One Wish” in cooperation with the Austrian Embassy Nicosia in Cyprus, and the year to follow in Vienna, held by Vienna Quartiere Artistico with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Austria (Vienna) and the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Austria - always under the auspices of the Association’s Patroness, Mrs. Andri Anastasiades, spouse of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades. Nicosia and Vienna come together through the aspiring power of music, and send messages of love, generosity and donating to everyone.
