On 16 December 2018, the Embassy/Permanent Mission of Cyprus to the United Nations in Vienna took part in the UNWG (United Nation Women's Guild) annual charity bazaar, whose aim is to collect money for children in need all over the world. The stand of the Embassy sold plenty οf Cypriot traditional dishes. At the instigation of the Embassy of Cyprus, the primary school choir of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Austria also took part and performed Christmas songs. The Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus in Vienna, Ms Elena Rafti, as well as other Embassy staff were present at the event.
