Deadline for application: 27/01/2023The Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Tel Aviv is looking for a Visa Support Assistant ïn a fixed-term contract of three (3) years.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Working in the visa section of the Embassy – receiving visa applications, advising / consulting applicants on visa applications and requirements
· Assisting with the processing of visa applications under the supervision of the Head of the visa Section
· Reviewing visa applications to ensure they are complete and sufficient documents have been provided
· Providing visa applicants with accurate and timely information / Responding to visa queries by emails and over the phone
· Input of visa applications’ data into the Visa Information System (VIS)
· Conducting document verification
· Ássisting in conducting interviews
· Performing any other duties related to the position held
Benefits and conditions of employment:
Tenure: The successful candidate will be hired on a fixed-term contract of three (3) years under the Terms of Employment of Local Staff for Cyprus’ Diplomatic Missions.
Contributions to the obligatory by the local legislation funds.
Salary: The starting gross salary for this position is 11.212 NIS per month.
Hours of Attendance:
The position is fulltime, Monday to Friday 09:00-16:30.
Requirements:
1. Certificate of secondary education
2. Good command of spoken / written Hebrew and English
3. Knowledge of the “Microsoft Windows Office” software package
4. CLEAR CRIMINAL RECORD CERTIFICATE certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel
Will be considered an advantage:
1. Good command of spoken / written Greek language
2. Diploma of higher education
3. Experience in a similar position
