On September 22nd, the Ambassador Mrs Maria Papakyriakou had the pleasure of opening the exhibition “The Presence of Absence” at Moesgaard Museum in Aarhus. The exhibition is yet another manifestation of the continuous fruitful cooperation between Aarhus and Pafos as the 2017 European Capitals of Culture.
The exhibition includes art, anthropology and archeology about the life of the dead in Cyprus and Denmark, and will run until January 7th, 2018.
This exciting exhibition is the sequel of another, equally exciting exhibition which took place in Pafos, Cyprus in July 2017 on the same theme, namely on the theme of “Life after Death” and is the result of the brilliant cooperation between Moesgaard Museum and the Society of Cypriot Studies.
