On Saturday, 9th December 2017, we had the pleasure of hosting a gathering at the Embassy to celebrate the coming of Christmas in the excellent company of friends of Cyprus. It was, as always, great to meet all the Cypriots living in Denmark who were able to come and the many Danes who are interested in our beautiful island.

We also had the distinct honour to welcome Pieros Sotiriou (playing for FC Copenhagen) as our special guest, which allowed us to hear more of how he is bringing some Cypriot quality to Danish football.

Speaking of Cypriot quality, the traditional Cypriot Christmas delicacies, sweets and wine were excellent, too!
