The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus has just launched a new online platform for the registration of Cypriot citizens overseas (www.connect2cy.gov.cy). All Cypriots who are currently abroad are strongly advised to register as soon as possible to http://www.connect2cy.gov.cy/ .

Amid the global crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the registration of all Cypriot overseas is very important. It is expected to enhance the Foreign Ministry's ability to accurately map the presence of Cypriots all around the world and be able to provide even more effectively consular assistance in cases of need, through the network of the Diplomatic Missions the Republic.

With the launch of the new, modern platform, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is establishing a channel for direct communication with users, with the aim of reconnecting Cypriot citizens abroad with their home country and immediately informing them on important issues.
